SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Pacific men's basketball program fell behind early and dropped an 83-49 decision to Santa Clara on Saturday at the Leavey Center.

Pacific (7-18, 2-9 WCC) couldn't overcome a cold .315 shooting day, while Santa Clara (15-9, 7-4 WCC) shot .554 on its home floor.

The Tigers garnered a pair of double-figure scorers. Junior
Elijah Fisher led the way with 14 points, while senior
Elias Ralph tallied 11 points. The Canadian duo grabbed four rebounds apiece.

Lamar Washington recorded seven points, four assists and four steals.

Pacific grabbed nine offensive rebounds and outscored the Broncos 12-8 in second chance points. Fisher and sophomore
Jazz Gardner pulled down two offensive rebounds each.

The Tigers return home Thursday to host San Diego at 7 p.m. at the Alex G. Spanos Center. It's the first of two home games next week as Pacific faces Gonzaga next Saturday at 5 p.m.
