Senior Day Celebration Ends in 2-1 Defeat to No. 13 Oregon State

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's soccer program celebrated Senior Day on Saturday night, coming up short in a 2-1 decision to No. 13 Oregon State at Knoles Field.

The Tigers (4-13, 1-7 WCC) found a late goal to tie the contest in the 82nd minute, but the Beavers (10-3-2, 6-0-2 WCC) pulled away with the result after a goal in the 84th minute.

Sophomore Ezekiel Padilla was the beneficiary of a goal for his second of the season that leveled the score in the 82nd minute. It was Padilla's first goal since scoring at Portland two weeks ago.

Junior Mateus Ruiz-Hurst made the final start of the season at home in goal.

The Beavers found the back of the net off the feet of Arnau Farnos and Sava Catlett. Farnos' goal came on a penalty kick in the 36th minute and Catlett's goal came on a counterattack in the 84th minute for the eventual game-winner.

Prior to the game, the Tigers honored their graduating senior class with Jacob Heisner, Matteo Carbone, Jose Maria Barrera, Luca Baltzer, Daniel Govea, Alberto Cruz and Ben-Martin Wilkinson for competing their final match at Knoles Field.

The Tigers will wrap up the 2025 campaign on the road, heading to the Bay Area to face Santa Clara in the season finale at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
