Tigers Fall to Broncos in Season Finale

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Pacific men's soccer program dropped its final contest of the 2025 campaign by a 5-2 score to Santa Clara on Saturday evening at Stevens Stadium.

The Tigers (4-14, 1-8 WCC) grabbed an early lead in the West Coast Conference finale, but the Broncos (6-5-7, 3-3-3 WCC) showcased their resilience to earn the result.

Senior Jacob Heisner and senior Luca Baltzer scored the goals for the Tigers in the first half. While Heisner connected on his second goal of the season to give Pacific an early lead in the tenth minute, Baltzer netted his team-best fourth goal of the year to bring the Tigers level before halftime in the 43rd minute.

Junior Milo Risenhoover made the final start of the season in goal and his first start since Oct. 31 against San Diego. Risenhoover tallied four saves in his effort defensively.

Pacific had its offensive chances all night, including a season-high 13 corner kicks, compared to Santa Clara's four. The high-scoring contest had a combined 36 shot attempts with the Broncos favored by a 21-15 margin.

With the result in the Bay Area, the Tigers officially close the books on the 2025 campaign and look ahead to 2026.
