STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific women's soccer team fell, 3-1, to New Mexico State on Thursday at Knoles Field.

Alexis Pashales scored her second goal of the season for the Tigers (1-3) in the 87th minute, chipping a pass from sophomore
Grace Campos underneath the crossbar.
The Tigers pressed and found scoring chances late, but the Aggies (4-0-1) held on to the 3-1 victory.
"Although there were some positives to take away from the match tonight, the final result is disappointing," Pacific co-head coach
J.J. Wozniak said. "There are some things to build monetum from heading into Sunday, but the small details matter and we will keep working to be dialed in for longer stretches during our next match."
Six different Pacific players recorded a shot on goal with freshman
Sierah McCallum leading the charge with two shots on goal. Sophomore
Libby Davy made her fourth start of the season in net, totaling three saves.
The Aggies opened the scoring in the 30th minute to take a 1-0 lead. New Mexico State's Loma McNeese tallied the next two goals, featuring a penalty kick in the 48th minute and follow-through on a corner kick in the 72nd minute.
Pashales answered for the Tigers late in the contest, registering a goal on two shot attempts in the final ten minutes.
Pacific wraps up the homestand against Cal Poly at 1 p.m. at Knoles Field.
