Elizabeth Elliott scored the first bucket for Pacific (13-9, 5-4 WCC) at the 6:28 mark in the first quarter that sparked a 9-3 run. Glazier trimmed Gonzaga's (22-2, 9-0 WCC) lead to nine on a jump shot from outside the paint, 18-9. But it was as close the Tigers would get as the Zags continued to build on their lead the rest of the game.
Pacific was 17-of-65 (.262) from the field and 4-of-5 (.800) at the free throw line while Gonzaga was 36-of-68 (.529) overall and 13-of-16 (.813) at the charity stripe. The Tigers scored 20 of their points in the paint.
Up next, Pacific travels for a rematch with San Francisco at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
