STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific volleyball flexed its prowess in the classroom with five members earning a spot on the 2024 All-Academic Team and tied for the highest number of student-athletes to make the team.
Graduate
Alexa Edwards, senior
Megan Nishimura, and sophomore
Dylan Gilkey all represent the Tigers on the team. The honor is Nishimura's third consecutive season on the team and Edwards' second. For Gilkey, the inclusion comes in her first year of eligibility to make the All-Academic Team.
Edwards was one of five players in the West Coast Conference to make both the First-Team All-WCC and the All-Academic team and will graduate with a Master of Science in business law.
Nishimura is set to graduate with a Master of Arts in communications, while Gilkey is working towards her bachelor's degree, majoring in business administration and specializing in sport management and analytics.

Darina Kumanova and senior
Jenna Heller were both recognized as honorable mentions for the team. Kumanova is a graduate student who will be graduating with a Master of Finance and
Heller will graduate with a degree in communications.
