Most Career Kills in West Coast Conference and Pacific History
2024 (Graduate Student)
Named WCC Player of the Year. Finished first in the WCC in kills per set in conference with 4.33. Was also first in kills per set in the overall season with 4.35. Her 563 total kills led the WCC and placed her 5th in the nation. Earned WCC Player of the Week Honors twice. Was named on Sept.16 after the GCU Classic where Pacific went 3-0 and she had 47 total kills. Earned the honor on Nov. 4 after a career-high 28 kills against Portland followed by a 24 kill performance against San Francisco. Also placed second on the team in digs with 347. Named an AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention and selected to the WCC Volleyball All-Academic Team.
2023 (Senior)
Earned First-Team All-WCC honors. Finished third in the WCC in kills per set in conference matches at 3.78. Was also third in kills per set in the overall season at 3.47 and ranked second in total kils with 337. Was 10th in digs per set at 2.60 and third in points at 4.00 per set. Earned WCC Player of the Week honors twice. Was named on October 30 after leading the Tigers to a five-set in over LMU with 18 kills and 12 digs. Earned the honor in the final week after recording 30 kills and 23 digs in two matches, including 19 kills in an upset of eventual champion Pepperdine. Named to the EWU Invitational All-Tournament Team after leading Pacific to a 3-0 record, including winning nine sets without a loss. Had 27 kills and 31 digs in the three matches, including 15 kills in the win over Nevada.
2022 (Junior)
Honorable mention All-WCC selection. Led the team with 431 kills. Tallied 53 service aces. Defensively tallied 298 digs, 6 block solo, and 30 total blocks. Had a season-high 21 kills against Portland on September 24 and 21 digs against Gonzaga on November 19, three assists against Gonzaga on September 22 and four total blocks against Santa Clara on December 3.
2021 (Sophomore)
Led the team with 397 kills. Tallied 17 service aces. Defensively tallied 259 digs, 15 block solo, and 53 total blocks. Had a season-high 27 kills and 18 digs against Sacramento State on September 10, two assists against Santa Clara on October 21, and five total blocks against Pepperdine on October 7. Was named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team.
2020 (Spring, 2021 Freshman)
Played in all nine matches in the abbreviated spring season for the Tigers during her freshman season, accumulating 143 kills and 165 total points. Edwards posted her best statistics in a home match against Santa Clara setting a career-high in kills (23), points (27.5), aces (four), and digs (16).
High School
Was a three-year team captain at St. Francis High School in Sacramento, the two-time Delta League MVP led both the Troubadours and the Delta League in kills all four years, tallying 2,083 in total for a career .296 hitting percentage...Defensively, Edwards added 1,577 digs and 219 blocks throughout her career at St. Francis...Racking up the awards, Edwards was named a MaxPreps Freshman All-American as well as a PrepVolleyball Freshman of the Year finalist in 2016, while also earning All-Delta League honors...Following this impressive season, Edwards was selected as a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American in 2017 after guiding her team to a Sac-Joaquin Section runner-up finish...After the Troubadours finished as the section runner-up once again her junior year, she capped off her season by being named the Sportstars Magazine Player of the Year...Rounding out her career with a bang, the 5'11" standout led St. Francis to their best start in school history in 2019 (26-0) before they captured the Sac-Joaquin Section crown...In her final season, Edwards landed on the PrepVolleyball Senior Aces Top 250, AVCA All-Region 9 Team, and Optimist Senior Team...With Edwards leading the charge, the Troubadours ultimately finished the Delta League seasons as undefeated champions from 2017-19...Also appeared on the Honor Roll throughout the entirety of her high school career and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee from 2017-19...Additionally, she was chosen as the Leadership Pillar Award winner her junior year for outstanding leadership.
Personal
The daughter of former Tiger Cathy-Lumb Edwards, who played for the Tigers from 1980 to 1983 and was a graduate assistant coach in 1986 when Pacific won the NCAA Championship, and Franklin Edwards, who played seven seasons in the NBA following an outstanding career at Cleveland State.
