Pacific Falls to Hot-Shooting Mizzou

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Missouri caught fire to create separation in the first half and topped the Pacific men's basketball program 91-56 on Friday at Mizzou Arena.
 
Senior Elias Ralph registered 19 points, six rebounds, four assists and a season-high three blocks. Ralph has scored in double-figures in all seven games this year for Pacific (3-4).
 
Junior Seth Jones tallied a career-high 15 points and hit a trio of three-pointers. He topped his previous career-high of 12 points against Life Pacific earlier this year. Junior Lamar Washington neared double-digits with nine points.
 
Pacific scored the first five points of the game on a three by sophomore Elijah Fisher and a dunk by Ralph. The score was even 11-11 after a jumper by sophomore Jazz Gardner at the 12:49 mark.
 
Mizzou (4-1) went on runs of 11-0 and 11-1 to build a 54-31 lead at the intermission. Mizzou shot 10-of-19 (.526) from three-point range in the first half and 14-of-30 (.467) for the game.
 
The Tigers return home Wednesday for a 7 p.m. game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
 
NOTES
- It was the third-ever meeting between the two programs as Pacific won the first 84-68 on Dec. 23, 1966, but Mizzou won 64-54 on Dec. 10, 1971.
 
- This game, as well as Pacific's home game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, are part of the Big Cat Classic - a men's basketball three-team event. The event is being organized by Russ Potts Productions Inc (RPPI).
 
- Yesterday, Pacific announced the signing of three players for 2025-26. It included Kellen Hampton, Emmanuel Manyoun and Alem Fejzic. Hampton, a 6-7, 205, forward, is a three-star recruit out of Moreau Catholic. Mayoun, a 6-3, 180, guard from Austin, Minnesota, will transfer from Garden City CC. Fejzic, a 6-3, 190, guard from Sarajevo, Bosnia, will transfer from Frank Phillips College.
