Tigers Fall to No. 15 Pepperdine

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision to No. 15 Pepperdine on Saturday night at Knoles Field.

Freshman Brianna Norman, freshman Sierah McCallum and sophomore Grace Campos each recorded a shot on goal for the Tigers (2-11-1, 0-4 WCC) against the Waves (9-2-3, 3-0-1 WCC).

"Early goals against are hard to overcome and tonight was no different," co-head coach J.J. Wozniak said. "Unfortunately, it was tough to grab hold of any sort of momentum the majority of the first half. We have a resilient group of players that shows up every day willing to work and ready to go and we know that continue moving forward."

Freshman Sierra Schwarz earned the start in goal with redshirt freshman Hannah McFarlane entered at the half for her collegiate debut. Schwarz made three saves while McFarlane collected four saves in the final 45 minutes.

Junior Trianne Cooper was the lone Tiger to compete a complete match, marking her fourth time doing so this season.

Pacific will hit the road next Saturday at 1 pm at Santa Clara.
