LOS ANGELES – Pacific men's tennis (4-11, 1-4) fell to LMU (9-6, 1-1) by a final of 4-1 Saturday afternoon.
The Lions took early wins on courts two and three in doubles to take the doubles point and get out to an early 1-0 lead.
The real battle started in singles as LMU took an early win on court one, but junior
Ran Amar responded quickly on court two, dispatching his opponent 6-1, 6-3 to get the Tigers on the board.

Andre Rodeia and senior
Coby McCaig both took their Lions opponents to the third set, but LMU was able to pick up wins on courts five and three to take the win and finish the match.
Pacific is back in action next Friday, hosting UCSB at 1 p.m. at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
