LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Pacific men's basketball team dropped an 80-63 decision to San Francisco in the second round of the University Credit Union WCC Basketball Tournament Friday evening at the Orleans Arena.

Leonard Perry said after the game. "We had an incredible season and battled all the way to the end."
Keylan Boone recorded his second double-double of the season, leading the Tigers (15-18) with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Boone shot 50 percent (six-for-12) from the field and connected on three of his four free-throw attempts. The junior from Tulsa, Okla., finished the year as the Tigers' leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 13.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
Tyler Beard also contributed to the scoring efforts, adding 16 points in 25 minutes off the bench. Beard connected on five of his eight shot attempts throughout the contest and went a perfect six-for-six at the free-throw line.
In a tightly contested first half that saw seven lead changes, the Tigers held a four-point advantage, 36-32, at the 2:07 mark of the first half. The Dons (19-13) responded in the final minutes of the half, using an 8-0 run to take a 40-36 halftime lead.
The Dons never relinquished the lead in the second half, outscoring the Tigers 40-27.
Pacific finished the season with the most wins since 2019-20 and recorded the third most WCC wins since rejoining the conference in 2013-14.
