Tampa, Fla.- The Pacific men's tennis team (2-7) dropped its contest against the University of Southern Florida (7-10) 4-0. 

To start doubles, on court #1, Pacific dropped the first doubles set 6-3. On court #2, junior Ran Amar and redshirt freshman Terence Das evened the doubles match 1-1 with a 6-3 victory. The doubles point came down to court #3, but the Tigers dropped the doubles match point in a hard-fought match 7-6 (7-5). 

Pacific dropped all of the singles match points, with three unfinished matches. Freshman Tiago Silva dropped his first set 7-6 and had a 1-0 lead in the second set when the match ended. Alam had a 1-0 lead in his singles match with a 6-4 win in set one and a 4-3 lead in the second set before the match finished. 

The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow, Sunday, March 12th, at the Mandy Moll Tennis Center against Stetson, with the first serve coming at 2 p.m. ET.
