STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's basketball team (10-14, 5-8) hosts its final two home games of the season against Santa Clara (14-11, 5-7) and San Francisco (15-9, 5-7).
Pacific is on a three-game win streak, picking up a home win over BYU and road victories over LMU and Pepperdine.
Junior
Liz Smith leads the team in scoring, averaging 14.2 points per game, and is sitting fifth in the conference with a three-point percentage of 42.3. Sophomore
Elizabeth Elliott is top of the team in rebounding, averaging 6.0 per game. Senior
Sam Ashby is second on the team averaging 5.3 rebounds per game, and leads the team in steals with 40.
Santa Clara split its most recent northern road trip, handing Gonzaga its first conference loss in a 77-72 finish before falling to Portland 80-68. Freshman Tess Heal has been a revelation for the team, averaging 16.2 points per game and receiving the WCC UCU Freshman of the Week nine times.
San Francisco defeated Santa Clara before dropping both road matches to Gonzaga and Portland. Redshirt junior Ionna Krimili leads the Dons in scoring, averaging 17.6 points per game and is second in the conference in points scored and threes made.
