Biography

2022-23 (Senior)
An All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention selection, Ashby started all 32 games for the Tigers. Ashby is second on the team in rebounding, and leads the team in minutes played, free throw percentage, and steals. She averaged 10.9 points per game  (18th in the WCC). Averaged 1.9 assists per game (2nd in the WCC). She played 955 total minutes this season, leading the team in minutes played. Ashby had a career-high 31 points and knocked down a season-high and career-high of seven three-pointers scored against UNLV (Dec. 18). She posted her second career double-double with 14  points and a career-high 11 rebounds against Nevada (Nov. 13). Grabbed more than five rebounds in 21 games. She scored 500 career points against San Francisco while scoring 20 (Jan. 12).

2021-22 (Junior)
Played in 24 games, starting 14. Averaged 7.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Second on the team in three-pointers made with 40. Recorded a double-double against San Diego on February 27 with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Scored a career-best 31 points against UNLV on December 18, hitting seven three-pointers on eight attempts. Named the the WCC All-Academic Honorable Mentions list. 
 
2020-21 (Sophomore) 
Averaged 7.5 points per game, best among the returnees. Was a 19-game starter. Led the team with 36 three pointers, or 1.6 per contest. Ranked 11th in the WCC in three-point scoring. Was third on the team in steals with 25 and fourth in assists with 28. Had a career-best 24 points in the WCC opener at Saint Mary’s, helping the Tigers to a 78-70 overtime road win. Tallied the first five points in overtime in the game to push the Tigers on top. Hit 10 of 16 from the field in that contest and also grabbed eight rebounds. Hit five three-pointers and scored 19 to help the Tigers to another WCC road win, 73-69 over LMU. Had a career-best six assists in the 61-45 win over Pepperdine in the Spanos Center. 

2019-20 (Freshman)
Played in 10 games for the Tigers her freshman season, making her season debut in Pacific's Preseason WNIT season-opening win over UMKC (11/8). Scored her first career basket on a three-pointer against Gonzaga (2/6). 

Prior to Pacific
Played for three years at Newman College in Perth where she helped her team to three Associated and Catholic Colleges titles. As an individual, she was a League All-Star in 2017 and scooped up Most Outstanding Female Basketballer honors in 2016 and 2017 and was named MVP in 2017.  In 2018, she led Newman to the Marist Grand Final in Sydney which is a tournament that brings together the most elite Catholic programs in Australia. While at Newman she set the program record for career free throws made and is second all-time in scoring. Only two players at Newman have ever made more three-pointers than Ashby.
