STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's basketball closes the regular season at home, facing off against Portland at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
Pacific is currently in a tie with BYU for sixth place in the league standings with one last opportunity to claim a top-six seed and a first-round bye in the upcoming University Credit Union WCC Basketball Tournament.
A win over Portland this weekend and a BYU loss at home to San Francisco would push the Tigers (13-17, 6-9) ahead of the Cougars for the sixth seed in the tournament.
Jordan Ivy-Curry paced the Tigers offensively last Thursday at #15 Saint Mary's, posting a team-high 11 points. Coming off the bench for the 23rd straight game, Ivy-Curry led the second unit that recorded 27 bench points throughout the contest. The La Marque, Texas sophomore shot 42.8 percent (three-for-seven) from the field and went a perfect four-for-four from the free-throw line.

The Dons quickly recovered the advantage and fended off a late Pilot to solidify the three-point victory.
Moses Wood and Tyler Robertson lead the team offensively, averaging 15.1 points per game. Robertson and Wood reached the 20-point threshold in the loss to the Dons, with Wood tallying a team-high 28 points.
