Box Score STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific women's tennis team (2-2) defeated Tarleton State (4-3) with a score of 4-3. 

"Good bounce-back win for the home team today," said Head Coach Mike Erwin. "We have a few key players limited due to injuries, and it was great to have others step up and get the job done." 

The Tigers started the day strong, winning two of three doubles matches, earning them the doubles point. On court #1, senior Klara Kosan and sophomore Karina Chao defeated Tarleton State in a quick 6-2 match. After losing on court #3, the doubles point was on the line. It came down to sophomores Alexis Sam and Tomi Main, who secured the point with a 6-2 victory. 

Pacific entered the singles matches with momentum. Kosan picked up the first point on court #1 with a 6-3, 6-2 victory. Senior Zoe Clydesdale-Eberle picked up the second singles point for the Tigers on court #4 with a hard-fought 6-2, 7-5 victory. Chao picked up the last singles point and secured the contest win for Pacific on court #3, 7-5, 7-5. 

"Very excited for our newcomer Karina Chao to clinch the match for us," Erwin said. 

The Tigers will be back in action against Sacramento State at home on Friday, Feb. 24, with first serve at noon.
