STOCKTON, Calif.—After a weekend at the Briann January Classic, Pacific women's basketball (5-3) returns to Arizona, but this time to Flagstaff where it will play Northern Arizona (4-3) at 11 a.m. PT/12 p.m. MT on Wednesday. Following that, the Tigers will return to the Spanos Center to host UC Santa Barbara (5-2) at 6 p.m. on Friday.
The contest against the Lumberjacks game will be featured on ESPN+ with James Malamas and Nick Alber on the call. Don Gubbins will be on the call on radio which will be streamed at this

Gubbins will also be on the call with Celeste Gehring for the game against the Gauchos which will also be streamed on ESPN+.
The Tigers finished 1-1 at the Briann January Classic. Pacific came up short against host Arizona State, 76-66, on Friday before pulling out a nail-biting 79-78 victory over Temple on Saturday.
Junior
Elizabeth Elliott and senior
Kadie Deaton were named to the All-Tournament Team.
Elliott had a big performance in both contests, recording back-to-back double-doubles. The Inglewood, Calif. native had a career-high 24 points and 11 rebounds against the Sun Devils followed by 19 points and a career-high 15 rebounds against the Owls. Elliott is second in scoring with 13.9 points per game and is currently the team's rebounding leader with 7.1 per game.
Deaton scored in double-figures in both games, notching 15 at Arizona State and 12 against Temple. The Wausau, Wis. native is averaging 13.8 points per game and is second in free-throw shooting with 20-of-24 (83.3%) from the line.
Senior
Liz Smith is the leading scorer for the Tigers with 14.8 points per game. The Dallas, Texas native is shooting 32-of-84 (38.1%) from the field and leads Pacific with 10-of-41 (24.4%) from the three-point line and 44-of-50 (88.0%) from the charity stripe.

Anaya James are leading the Tigers in assists with 4.4 per game. James is also averaging a team-leading 1.3 steals per game.
Pacific meets Northern Arizona for the first time since 2006. The Tigers are 2-3 in the all-time series against the Lumberjacks, having won in 1987 (69-63) and 2004 (59-50). The last meeting was on December 7, 2006, at Rolle Activity Center. Northern Arizona defeated Pacific by a score of 74-59. It was also the same year the Lumberjacks made their first NCAA tournament appearance in program history.
Sophie Glancey leads Northern Arizona in scoring with 11.4 points per game. Emily Rodabaugh is second in points with 10.7 per game and is the team rebounding leader with 5.1 per game.
The Lumberjacks have made the final round in the Big Sky Tournament five times, including the last two. Last season, Northern Arizona clinched a share of the Big Sky regular season title for the first time since 1998. In addition, the Lumberjacks made its first appearance in the WNIT. Northern Arizona also competed in the WBI back in 2021.
Pacific faces another former conference opponent in UC Santa Barbara. The Gauchos lead the all-time series, 51-22, against the Tigers. Pacific won the last two meetings against UC Santa Barbara in 2018 (69-53) and 2019 (63-53).
The Gauchos have made 14 appearances in the NCAA tournament and five in the WNIT. UC Santa Barbara has also won 14 Big West Conference Tournament titles.
Alexis Whitfield leads the Gauchos with 14.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Anya Choice is second with 10.3 points. Alyssa Marin, who was recently named Big West Player of the Week, is the third-leading scorer with 10.1 points per game while leading UC Santa Barbara with 4.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
Next week, the Tigers will have a few days off before traveling to Long Beach State at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 16.
