FRESNO, Calif - The Pacific men's swim team (2-0) earned their second win of the season after a 137-119 win over Fresno Pacific (0-2) on Friday evening. The Tigers raced with a different edge as multiple went for lifetime best finishes over the duration of the meet.
Â
Five Tigers swam new career-bests, including three freshmen, in their dual meet with the Sunbirds, but it was a united front to earn the win in Fresno. They kickstarted their victory behind a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay with a 1:32.18 finish.Â

Freshman
Kyle Capili was the first of the five to race a new top-time, earning the second-place finish in the 100 back with a 50.92. Sophomore
Ethan Cole found the wall a full second before the second-place finisher in the 100 breast to earn his career best 56.61 in the event.Â
Â
Senior
Aidan Scott soared to the first-place finish in the 200 fly with a 1:52.73, taking the event handedly. Freshman

Â
The Tigers claimed the first-place finish in the 200 free relay by nearly a full two seconds to capture the win over the Sunbirds.Â
Â
With a lot of momentum built after a great day of racing, the men return tomorrow to take on CSU Bakersfield in their second dual meet of the weekend.
