LOS ANGELES—Pacific women's soccer (8-9-1, 2-5, WCC) defeated Loyola Marymount (6-9-2, 0-4-2 WCC), 2-1, in its final road game of the season on Saturday.

J.J. Wozniak. "Collectively our players enjoyed a great week of training and we had the mindset to get the job done tonight."

Anaya Shelton scored her fifth goal of the season to give the Tigers the 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute. Sophomore
Alexis Pashales and junior
Aniela Jensen were credited with the assists.
During the second half, the Lions tied the contest with a point from Alex Hobbs in the 83rd minute.
Four minutes later, Pashales notched the game-winning header off the assist from fifth-year senior
Jaida Nyby on a third-straight Pacific corner kick opportunity in the 87th minute.
Both teams took 12 shots apiece with the Tigers having a 6-5 edge in net.
Senior goalkeeper
Juliana Alexander grabbed four saves.
"We will feel good about the win tonight," said co-head coach
Danesha Adams. "But we will be looking forward to getting ready for our home finale next Saturday night versus San Francisco."
Up next, Pacific concludes the season at Knoles Field as it hosts San Francisco for Senior Night at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4.
