STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's and women's swimming teams are hosting their annual Pacific Invite on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1 and 2. The meet will start each day at 10 a.m.
The meet will consist of both Pacific teams, the men's and women's teams from Simon Fraser and the women's team from the University of Nevada, Reno.
"We saw a lot of great racing last weekend from both the men and women," said Head Coach Katelyne Herrington. "We're looking to see how we can carry ourselves with back-to-back competition days."
The Pacific women's team (1-0) heads into the meet coming off a big win against Cal State East Bay last weekend at home. The Tigers beat the Pioneers 167-95 in their season opener.
The Wolf Pack has a 1-0 lead over Pacific. The two teams met at the 2018 Pacific Invite.
The Pacific men's team will open its season at the Pacific Invite.
"This weekend will be more competitive for us, and it will be good to see how we can manage our races under pressure," said Herrington.
Admission to the Pacific Invite at the Chris Kjeldsen Pool is free of charge. Fans will receive swimming schedule posters and pocket schedules.
