STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific men's soccer (1-6-1) scored early but could not hold on against UC Davis (1-5-1) in a 2-1 loss.
Ryan Her scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season.

Samuel Saiz Herraiz all put shots on goal.
Samuel Villalta had three shots. In his first start of the season,
Brian Lanier had six saves.
The first half started with both offenses looking to attack often. UC Davis had seven shots while the Tigers fired five of their own. The Tigers found the net first in the 34th minute. A foul just outside the box set up
Ryan Her for a free kick which he promptly buried in the top right corner of the goal to put Pacific up 1-0. The Aggies responded in the 41st minute, bringing the game even at one.
The match remained tied until the 66th minute when a ball into the Pacific box found a UC Davis player who scored and put the Aggies up 2-1. The two teams both took six shots in the second half. Saiz Herraiz put a shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the UC Davis goalkeeper kept the Aggie lead safe.
The Tigers are back on the pitch on Thursday, Sept. 22, as they travel to San Jose State. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
