STOCKTON, Calif. - Coming off one of the best wins of the season, the Pacific women's basketball team (5-3) heads south to play CSU Fullerton on Tuesday, Dec. 6, before challenging Pac-12 foe California on Saturday, Dec. 10. 

Sophomore Anaya James was named WCC Co-Player of the Week after a 21-point, eight-rebound and seven-assist effort against UNLV. Junior Liz Smith leads the team in scoring, averaging 16.4 points per game. Sophomore Elizabeth Elliott leads the team in rebounding, averaging 6.8 per game. James leads the team in assists with 38, while senior Sam Ashby leads the team in steals with 12. 

Smith is tied for the conference lead in scoring, and James is sixth. James is third in the conference in assists, Smith is second in the conference in threes made and second in three-point percentage. 

CSU Fullerton opened its home season with a nine-point win over Pepperdine after a four-game road trip to start the season. The Titans are averaging 63.8 points per game to start the season while allowing 64.2. Fujika Nimmo leads the Titans in scoring at 17 points per game. The Titans have four players scoring in double-digits to start the season. 

The two teams are facing off for the first time since the 2018-19 season. Cal is sitting at 6-2 to start the season, thanks mainly to Jayda Curry, averaging 14 points per game. With three 3-pointers against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Curry kept her streak of consecutive regular-season games with at least one 3-pointer going at 29 games. Her streak is the longest among all active Pac-12 players and is the sixth-longest streak of any Pac-12 player since the 1999-00 season.
