STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's basketball team (1-0) hosts #2 Stanford (2-0) in the 2022-23 home opener. This is the third consecutive season that the two teams have played each other.

Anaya James has picked up right where she left off, scoring 21 on 9-10 shooting in the Tiger's season-opening win over UC Riverside. Junior

Elizabeth Elliott scored double-digits in the season opener. Junior
Cecilia Holmberg led the team in rebounding with eight. Junior
Madelene Ennis led the team in minutes, coming off the bench while adding nine points and two blocks.
Stanford continues to be one of the most complete teams in the country. The Cardinal have six players averaging double-digits in scoring, led by Kiki Iriafen, averaging 13.0 points. Cameron Brink leads the country in blocks with nine. As a team, Stanford is averaging 95 points per game while shooting 53.7 from the field.
