Women's Basketball Helps out at Stockton Children's Museum

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's basketball team continues to be leaders in the community. The Tigers recently helped out at the Stockton Children's Museum.

Four women's basketball players went to the museum. Senior Josephine Millard, Senior Sam Ashby, Redshirt Junior Rosie Schweizer and Junior Cecilia Holmberg represented the Tigers as the children's museum prepared for their Hispanic Heritage Month celebration hosted by Pacific booster Diane Batres.

The athletes spent time helping sell raffle tickets for the museum's Hispanic Heritage celebration event while socializing with Pacific boosters, professors and alums.

"This event and the children's museum were both amazing," said Millard. "We had the chance to spend some time with great people, which was a good reminder of how engaged this community is. My teammates and I enjoyed the event, and we hope to go back soon."

The home opener for the Tigers is a month away, hosting Stanford on November 11 at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
