Hungry to return home and to return its winning ways, the University of the Pacific women's soccer team did just that in a 1-0 win over Fresno State on Friday night at Knoles Field. Defender Kelsey Oen took the advice of her coaches about being relentless in the final third of the pitch and finishing her run with a goal off a pass from Jenae Packard in the 60^th minute. 
 
The one goal was enough as the Tigers recorded their third shutout in five contests of the young season.
 
Statistically speaking
• Brenna Crump recorded her second shutout of the season and the sixth of her career.
• Crump had two saves on the six shots that she faced.
• The three shutouts are the most since the 2011 season 
• Pacific had seven shots, whereas Fresno State had six.
