The University of the Pacific women's soccer team extended its winning streak to six with a 2-0 shutout win over host San Jose State on Sunday.
The Tigers (8-1-1) broke a scoreless tie with a pair of second half goals in the win to extend its winning streak and its stingy defense has not allowed a goal in its last 247:02.Â
The Spartans (3-5) kept Pacific off the scoreboard through the first 45 minutes. Defender Sarah Santos had the lone shot on goal in the first half.
From the coaches – Interim Co-Head Coach J.J. Wozniak and Danesha Adams
"Super excited to have another dominating performance from this team as we closed out the non-conference portion of our season. We couldn't be happier as we head into conference play. Each and every player on our team has been such a big part of our early season success, we are all looking forward to WCC games starting up in two weekends. This group is more than ready to make a statement in conference play."
