STOCKTON, Calif. - Sophomore middle blocker
Ramonni Cook (Elk Grove, Calif. / Cosumnes Oaks HS) led Pacific to a 1-2 record at the Sacramento State Invitational en route to All-Tournament Team honors. Cook averaged 2.67 kills per set and a .197 hitting percentage, plus she also averaged 0.67 blocks. In the Tigers' four-set win over CSUN, she had 10 kills en route to a .304 hitting percentage to go along with four blocks. The night before in a five-set loss to Sacramento State, she had 13 kills and three blocks.
Next, the Tigers remain on the road for a trip to Tempe, Arizona for the Arizona State Tournament, Sept. 16-17. While in Tempe, Pacific will face host Arizona State at 6 p.m. on Sept. 16 and UNLV at 1 p.m. on Sept. 17.
