EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - After succesfully advancing through Friday's competition, the second day of the 2021 West Coast Conference Beach Volleyball Championships was not favorable for the University of the Pacific Beach Volleyball team, as the Tigers were shut out by Saint Mary's, 5-0 in a fourth round elimination dual match.
The Gaels won all five matches in two sets to sweep Pacific. The most competitive match was in Flight No. 2, where Crash Parker and Hawley Harrer defeated Pacific's pair of

Sedona Sherman, 21-10, 21-16.

Pacific head coach
Greg Gibbons reflected on the team's performance throughout the WCC Championships. "I am so proud of how much this team has improved and competed and earned the right to be In the semis," said Gibbons. "Now they need to focus on finals and get a much needed and deserved break. Awesome team."
The Tigers finished the 2021 regular season at 6-8 overall and 3-6 against WCC opponents, including tournament matches.
