LAS VEGAS, Nev. – After dropping the series opener to the Rebels on Thursday, the Pacific baseball team (8-19, 0-9) could not even the series against UNLV (13-7, 9-6) on Friday afternoon, falling in a tight contest, 3-2.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

- In the bottom of the third, UNLV struck first on a two-out RBI single from first baseman Jack-Thomas Wold to take a 1-0 lead after three innings complete.
- Aiming to battle back, the Tigers responded with two runs on three hits in the top of the fifth, which included an RBI single from senior outfielder Luke Price. After the fifth, Pacific held a 2-1 advantage over the Rebels.
- Shortly thereafter, UNLV evened the contest at two with another RBI single in the home half of the sixth, this time from shortstop Jordan Andrade. One inning later, catcher Eric Biagini lined an infield single to plate another Rebel base runner and give UNLV a one run lead, 3-2, through seven innings.
- Locking down the Tigers in their final two plate appearances, the Rebel bullpen did not allow Pacific to score again in the contest as Ty Pohlmann denied the UOP attack in the ninth to notch his first save of the season and secure the victory for the Rebels, 3-2.
