Pacific set for WCC Championships

STOCKTON, Calif. - The West Coast Conference Beach Volleyball Championships take place this coming Friday and Saturday at Dockweiller Beach in El Segundo, Calif. Opening the tournament will be a matchup between the University of the Pacific Beach Volleyball team and Santa Clara. The Tigers are the no. 5 seed in a field of seven teams. 

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

The WCC Championships are played in a double-elimination format, with each team playing a minimum of two dual matches.

THINGS TO KNOW
  • Pacific enters the tournament at 4-6 overall, coming off a 4-1 win over San Francisco. 
  • Friday's matchup between the Tigers and Broncos will be the second of the season between the two teams. On April 8, Santa Clara defeated Pacific, 4-1 in the WCC Mid-Season Invitational. 
  • Pacific's pair of Jadyn Tubbs and Jenny Todd are on a five-match win streak entering Friday and have a team-leading seven wins.
