Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Tigers Come Up Short In Portland

PORTLAND, OR - On the road for the 2nd straight week, the Tigers fall in Portland with a score of 2-0.

First Half:
  • Forward, Jade Enalen, got her first start of the season
  • Helping keep the score tied, Audrey Fuchs, blocked a shot from potentially going in on a corner kick
  • Ryan Molenaar, had the best scoring chance for Pacific, but her shot was saved by the Portland goalie
  • In the 41st minute, Portland, got their first goal of the game on a cross that found the foot of Taryn Ries
First Half Score: Portland 1, Pacific 0

Second Half:
  • Weronika Baranowska, started the second half in goal, for her first minutes in WCC play this season
  • In the 58th minute, Portland received a penalty shot, from a fould that occured in the box. Taryn Ries scored teh penalty shot, moving the score to 2-0
  • Pacific got a shot on goal in the 69th minute, from Jenae Packard
  • In the 77th minute the Tigers got another shot on goal, this time from Abigail Wolf
Final Score: Portland 2, Pacific 0

Up Next:

The Tigers will be back at home for the next two weeks. Saturday March 13th they will host Pepperdine followed by BYU on March 20th. Both games will start at 1pm and will be live streamed.
