Quote from Coach Moore:
Hats off to a very good Pepperdine team that in firing today. As we all know there are so many teams in this league that can really expose you and punish mistakes that you make. Today, Pepperdine did that. They were sharp and capitalized on several of our mistakes and a tough ten-minute spell put the game all but out of reach by half time. I absolutely thought our team responded well and we made some good adjustments in the second half. Credit to our team that they didn't give up and the second half saw us play some good soccer, not allow any more goals, and we pulled a goal back. This will be a match we can learn several great lessons from. It will be up to the staff and players to work on those elements this week and be ready to go again next week.
Up Next:
The Tigers will be back at home next week to face #13 BYU.
