Â
"Good to Great teams don't start slow," head coach
Leonard Perry stated regarding the early 7-0 deficit. "Right now, we're not a good to great team … Defensively, we're not where we're supposed to be, and other teams are running their offensives harder."
Â
Facing multiple double-digit deficits throughout the second half, the Tigers were able to cut into the Titan's lead. Trailing 45-36 at the 14:06 mark of the second half, baskets from Wilson-Rouse and
Nick Blake cut the deficit to five. The Titans, however, went on an 18-9 run in the next 10 minutes of action to pull away late.
Â
Pacific returns to action on Saturday, December 11, traveling to San Jose State as the Tigers conclude their current road trip. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
