Set 1

  • After a 1-1 start, the Tigers went on a 3-1 run to take a quick, but slight lead.
  • New Mexico State tied the game at 4-4 and from there it was a back-and-forth battle until the Tigers regained control with a 15-10 lead at the media timeout.

  • NMSU took the lead late, winning the next two points on a kill and a Pacific hitting error (21-19)
  • Pacific came back within one point at 22-21 following a kill by Kennedy Kaminsky, but the Aggies would win four of the final five serves to claim the set one victory.

Set 2

  • Pacific would only score four more points in the set.

Set 3

  • Pacific did not have much momentum heading into the deciding set, quickly falling to a seven-point deficit (9-2).
  • Following the 14-4 mark, Pacific began to creep up on the Aggies, but they matched up perfectly with the Tigers, both scoring six points over the next 12 serves.
