Tigers Fall to Hornets, 2-0

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's soccer team was held scoreless at Sacramento State on Thursday evening.

The Tigers fall to 0-5 on the season, while Sacramento State improves to 3-1-1 to start its 2019 campaign.
 

In Case You Missed It

  • Sacramento State was aggressive to start the match, taking consecutive shots on goal at 13:45 and 17:54. Brenna Crump, in her first game of the season snagged her first two steals on the plays. 
  • The Hornets connected for their first goal in the 28th minute.
  • Pacific was held to just two shots in the half, both of which before the 30 minute mark.
  • In the second half, Ryanne Molenaar connected for two shots on goal, but Sacramento State's Aaliyah Fesili collected saves on both attempts.
  • At 69:46 Sacramento State scored an insurance goal. 
  • The Tigers would take just two more shots in the half, Katelyn Chandler had a shot in the 80th minute that went wide right and defender Abigail Wolf had a shot on goal following a free kick at 85:47.
  • Pacific finished four-for-10 in shots on goal. 
  • Crump wrapped up the match with seven saves.
