STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's basketball (11-3) will look to extend its win streak and continue an already impressive start to the 2019-20 season when it hosts Idaho State on Saturday night.

AGAINST IDAHO STATE
- Pacific holds a 5-3 record against the Bengals, which includes a 2-0 record at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
- The Tigers have snagged three victories in their last four meetings with Idaho State.
- Most recently, Pacific earned an 83-76 road win on Nov. 15, 2018. Senior Jahlil Tripp was one of three Tigers to score a team-high 14 points, while also dishing out five assists.
LAST TIME OUT
- Pacific is coming off of its sixth-consecutive victory and just its third-ever road victory at UNLV, defeating the Rebels 74-66 at the Thomas & Mack Center on Wednesday.
- Junior guard Justin Moore put forth his best offensive effort of the season, shooting 6-for-12 from the floor, including a 3-for-5 effort from the three point line, and 7-for-7 from the free throw line for a career-best 22 points. In addition, Moore dished out three assists and had one steal.
- Tripp and James Hampshire led the Tigers with eight rebounds and three blocks, respectively.
- As a team, Pacific scored 16 points off of turnovers and topped the Rebels in bench points (36-18), second-chance points (15-4), rebounds (34-28), assists (15-11), and blocks (5-3)
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE TIGERS
- 11-3 is the best start for a Pacific men's basketball team since 2004-05.
- Gary Chivichyan's streak of made three-pointers continues, making at least three baskets from beyond the arc for the fifth straight contest. Against the Rebels, Chivichyan scored 11 points on 3-for-7 shooting from the floor and two made free throws.
- Pacific ranks fifth nationally in Rebound Margin (11.1), seventh nationally in total rebounds (514), and is 23rd nationally in scoring defense (59.4)
- Freshman Pierre Crockrell II leads the WCC and is sixth nationally in assist/turnover ratio (3.64)
SCOUTING THE BENGALS
- Idaho State has lost two straight contests, falling at Pepperdine (77-65) on Dec. 6 and to UCSB (74-68, OT) on Dec. 16.
- The Bengals rank second nationally in three-point field goal defense, holding its opponents to 23.1 percent from the three-point line.
- Tarik Cool leads three players that are scoring in double figures, averaging 15.1 points per game. Cool is shooting 41.5 percent from the field and 36.8 percent from the three-point line. He also boasts team-bests of 27 assists and 12 steals.
