Biography

2019-20 (Senior)
Started all 33 games for the Tigers in his senior campaign, leading the team with 16.2 points and 8.9 rebounds on his way to West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year and All-WCC First Team honors. Scored a season- and career-high 39 points in a four-overtime win over Saint Mary's (1/4), five shy of tying the Pacific single-game record. Led the WCC with 294 rebounds, 6.42 per game on the defensive glass (first in the WCC) and 2.48 on the offensive glass (second in the WCC). Also led the conference with 11 double doubles, and ranked fifth in scoring and third with a .512 field goal percentage. Broke the 1,000-point mark for this career at Santa Clara (1/18), becoming the 29th player in program history to do so. Led the team and ranked fourth in the conference with 49 steals at a rate of 1.48 per contest, climbing up to third on Pacific's all-time career steals list with 148.

2018-19 (Junior)
Tripp proved to be a valuable piece of the Tigers lineup as he was the only player to start in all 32 of the Stockton squad’s games for the 2018-19 season. Ranking among the top players in the WCC, he averaged 10.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assist, 1.6 steals, 1.3 assist/turnovers. He was named WCC honorable mention.

2017-18 (Sophomore)
Tripp was one of the most dynamic players, ranking among the top players in the WCC with averages of 10.6 points (26th), 7.8 rebounds (5th), 4.5 assists (7th), 1.5 steals (2nd), 2.4 offensive rebounds (3rd), 5.4 defensive rebounds (6th), 1.6 assist/turnover ratio (10th) and 35.1 minutes (3rd). He was named to the All-WCC Second Team. Became the first Tiger player to earn WCC Player of the Week since 2014, earning the weekly nod for his team-leading 22 points in Pacific''s 67-66 upset over visiting BYU on Jan. 6 and his 19 point, five rebound and 3.5 assist effort at Saint Mary''s on Jan. 4. Recorded his sixth double-double of the season at the WCC Tournament where he totaled 16 points, 11 rebounds against USF. 

Prior to Pacific
Tripp was named First Team All-Western Junior College Athletic Conference for the 2016-17 season. He averaged 11.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, making him the Texans’ third-leading scorer and second-leading rebounder.

High School
Tripp averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds per game as a senior at Abraham Lincoln High School.
