WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
  • Pacific is meeting both St. Francis and Toledo each for the first time in program history.
  • The Tigers are led by Katrina McClane Award Watch List honoree Brooklyn McDavid, who has registered a double-digit scoring performance in eight of the Tigers' nine outings and ranks 21st in Division I with a 61.1 field goal percentage. She also ranks seventh in Pacific history with 12.99 points per game and 14th with 6.19 rebounds per game.
  • Sofie Tryggedsson has made an instant impact on the program with a team-high 25 three-pointers after spending the previous three seasons at Colorado State.
  • McDavid, Tryggedsson and Valerie Higgins all rank in the top three on the squad in scoring average, total points, made field goals, total rebounds and rebound average.
  • Preseason All-WCC selection Higgins brings the hustle and helping hand for the Tigers this year with a team-high 23 steals and 27 assists.
  • McDavid registered five rebounds at CSU Bakersfield on December 7, including three on the offensive glass to become just the seventh Tiger all-time to grab 200 offensive rebounds. At 71 career games entering Bakersfield, the Studio City, California native is the fastest in program history to hit the mark.
LAST TIME OUT
  • Pacific fell 68-57 to No. 10/10 UCLA on Sunday afternoon at Pauley Pavilion.
  • Higgins was on the cusp of a double-double against the nationally-ranked Bruins, logging 15 points and nine rebounds.
  • Tryggedsson added to her team-high total in threes, converting on four of Pacific's five in the opening half.
  • Loretta Kakala scored her first bucket as a Tiger after sitting out the first eight games of the season as a redshirt.
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
  • St. Francis enters the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic posting the fifth-best free throw showing in the country, converting 79.7 percent of their shots from the line.
  • The Terriers, though, struggle on the glass with a -10.7 rebound margin and don't block a lot of shots - just 12 on the year, to be exact.
  • Nevena Dimitrijevic comes in with 6.7 assists per game and 60 total, good for fourth and 13th among Division I.
SCOUTING THE ROCKETS
  • Toledo is led up top by Mariella Santucci, who dishes out an average of 4.6 assists per contest while also averaging just under 10 points per game at 9.8. Joining Santucci in Toledo's backcourt is Nakiah Black, averaging just above the 10-point mark at 10.12 points per contest. Both have appeared in every contest this year for the Rockets.
  • Opposite of St. Francis, Toledo struggles from the free throw line. The Rockets have made just 72 from the stripe all year for a 63.2 free throw percentage.
