STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific will be represented in the NCAA West Regionals once again with Tigers head coach Josh Jones sending Kendall Bietsch, Jasmine Gonzalez, Alyssa Hershey, Anna Martinez, Saira Purhar, Kimberly Villegas and Emily Wylie to this year's race on Friday morning at the Colfax Golf Club in Colfax, Washington hosted by Washington State.

Notables:

• Last year at the NCAA West Regionals in Sacramento, Gonzalez narrowly missed out on a top 100, breaking the tape in 21:41.7 as one of five Pacific runners in the field to finish 108th
• 2018 was Gonzalez's third year racing for Pacific in the West Regional race. She'll try to set a new NCAA West Regional personal best on Friday, turning in a 21:44.2 performance set her sophomore year that still stands as her third-fastest 6k time at Pacific. She's paced the Tigers in all three of her NCAA West Regional meets. 
• Bietsch, Hershey and Villegas are making their NCAA West Regional debuts. All three have set PRs this season. 
• Hershey, a freshman out of Edmonds, Washington, is the lone underclassmen racing for the Orange and Black on Friday.
