Pacific Falls to Santa Clara in Midweek Clash

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's soccer team (3-9-0, 0-2-0 WCC) was unable to find its footing during a midweek matchup, falling 3-0 to Santa Clara (7-5-1, 1-0-1 WCC) Wednesday night at Knoles Field. 
 
In Case You Missed It: 
  • Freshman Weronika Baranowska earned the starting job in net for the fifth time this season and her first since September 1 at Fresno State.
  • Freshman defender Hana Rosenblatt was inserted into the starting XI for the first time in her collegiate career, contributing 60 minutes of action against the Broncos.  
 
Statistically Speaking:
  • Sophomore forward Isabella Pariente paced the Tigers with two shots in her sixth consecutive start dating back to Pacific's 1-0 win at Manhattan on September 13.  
  • Sophomore defender Camryn Scully contributed a shot on net for Pacific and continued her streak of having yet to miss a minute of play in 2019.
