Tigers Set to Compete at WCC Championship

STOCKTON, Calif. – Following a season of multiple new PRs, another broken school record and standout performances from newcomers, the Pacific cross country team will go up against the West Coast Conference's best at the WCC Championship on Friday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. The 6k race, as hosted by Loyola Marymount, will be run at Woodley Lakes Golf Course in Van Nuys, California. The race will be streamed live on The WCC Network with George Devine and Josh Muxen on the call.

Notables:
  • Senior Kendall Bietsch has burst onto the Pacific cross country scene, leading the Tigers at the San Francisco State Invitational on October 11 with a time of 23:50.9, good for 18th to lead the squad. 
  • Jasmine Gonzalez will be competing in her final WCC Championship, going into the 6k race fresh off a broken school record for the second straight year. 
  • Multiple PRs were set at Pacific's last outing at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational, including four by underclassmen.
