STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's volleyball team continues to battle for its first win at home, falling to a tough Pepperdine squad in four sets on Thursday night at the Alex G. Spanos Center. The Tigers dropped the match by set scores of 25-15, 17-25, 13-25, and 17-25.
Pacific falls to 11-8 overall, 3-4 in West Coast Conference play, while the Waves improve to 10-8, 6-1 against their Conference foes.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
- Each team claimed their respective set victories by at least eight points.
- The two squads matched up fairly closely in kills (46-45), sets (42-41), and digs (56-56). Defense at the net made the difference in the match, with Pepperdine out-blocking the Tigers 12-7.
- Pacific's strongest offensive performance came in the first set when it hit .441 (17-2-34). Then in the second set they hit .300 (13-4-30).
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Sophomore outside hitter Riley Patterson led all players with 18 kills, finishing with a .256 hitting percentage for the match.
- Jadyn Tubbs led the Tigers with 17 digs, followed by a 10 dig performance by Allison Dennemann. In addition, Tubbs totaled two service aces.
- Kennedy Kaminsky had five blocks on the night, two solo blocks and three assisted blocks. Patterson also assisted on three blocks.
- Gabby Leo commanded the offense for the entire match, dishing out 39 assists.

Later that day, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. will be the program's annual Digs for Kids event. The event is open to all kids ages 5-12 and will will include a poster signing and an ice cream social at the conclusion of the clinic
