Retired Jersey
Tomorrow night the men's basketball team will retire just its fifth jersey number in program history, when it honors Dell Demps with the retirement of his No. 5. A ceremony honoring Demps and his contributions to the men's basketball program from 1988-92 will take place at halftime.
Last Time Out
- Tigers claimed their 11th victory on the season and their first win in West Coast Conference play with a win at Portland last Saturday night.
- Jahlil Tripp played a full 40 minutes for the Tigers en route to his first double-double of the season, which included 17 points and 11 rebounds.
- Lafayette Dorsey led Pacific's scoring with 21 points, on 7-10 shooting from the field, 3-for-4 shooting from beyond the arc, and 4-for-5 shooting from the free throw line.
- Zach Cameron put in a season-high 28 minutes of work, collecting six rebounds and one block.
The History
- Pacific and San Francisco meet for the 106th time on Thursday night. The Dons lead the all-time series, 73-32.
- San Francisco won all three meetings with the Tigers last season, including a 71-70 overtime victory at the WCC Championship Tournament at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
- The Tigers are 1-11 in the last 12 games played with USF since rejoining the WCC in 2013-14. The lone win came at home on Feb. 25, 2016.

- The Tigers are 11-8, 1-3 in WCC play.
- Pacific has three double-figure scorers — Roberto Gallinat (14.7 p/gm), Dorsey (12.4 p/gm), and Tripp (11.3 p/gm).
- As a team, the Tigers rank 26th in the nation in free throw percentage (75.7), seventh in free throw attempts (470), and second in made free throws (356).
- Dorsey remains the WCC's free throw percentage leader, compiling 90.1 percent accuracy. The Los Angeles product is 15th nationally in the category.
- Gallinat is fourth among all Division I players with 115 made free throws.
- Tripp continues to be the Tigers' all-around leader, averaging team-highs of 6.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.

WCC Player of the Week
The Tigers have had two WCC Player of the Week selections this season:
Ajare Sanni was named WCC Player of the Week on December 31, 2018 after shooting 50 percent (8-16) from the field, including a 60 percent (3-5) effort from beyond the arc, and 80 percent (4-5) from the free throw line for a team-leading 23 points in the Tigers win over UC Irvine on Saturday. His game totals included two steals, one assist, and one rebound.
Anthony Townes snagged conference weekly honors on December 17, 2018 following following two stellar performances that helped the Tigers to a 2-0 finish, with wins over Long Beach State (74-68) and Cal State Northridge (79-77). Townes averaged 19 points with 70.6 percent shooting from the field and 93.3 percent shooting from the free throw line. In addition, he averaged 7.5 rebounds.
