Box Score STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of Pacific women's basketball team had two members earn West Coast Conference All-Academic honors, as announced by the WCC on Wednesday, February 21.
Junior Ameela Li, hailing from Piedmont, California, was named to the All-Academic Team with a 3.96 GPA in Business Administration. Li averages 33.9 minutes per game and ranks second on the team in scoring with 12.1 points per game.
Sophomore Jenelle Grant, a native from London, England, earned All-Academic Honorable Mention. Grant averages 7.1 rebound per game to lead the Tigers defense through 27 games of action.
The Tigers are wrapping up WCC action this weekend taking on the University of San Francisco tonight at 7 p.m. followed by their final home game of the season hosting Loyola Marymount on Saturday, February 24 at 2 p.m. honoring the seniors, GeAnna Luaulu-Summers and Desire Finnie.
Following the weekend, Pacific will compete in the WCC Championships starting on Thursday, March 1 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
