2018-19 (Senior): All-WCC Honorable Mention WCC All-Academic Team I-AAA Athletics Directors Association Scholar-Athlete Team In her senior campaign, Li played in 31 out of 32 games, starting all 31 games she played in. Li averaged 13.2 points per game with a career-high 27 points in the season-opener against UC Davis (Nov. 11). Averaging 4.4 assists per game, Li was top three in the WCC in assists, and tallied a season-high nine assists in the win against San Jose State (Nov. 29). Li averaged 2.4 steals, and had a season-high eight steals in the win against San Diego (Jan. 12), and has moved to be fourth in career steals in all of Pacific''s history. Li''s senior season made her 12th in scoring overall in the WCC, third in assists, and second in steals. 2017-18 (Junior): Li played in all 32 games for the Tigers, making 31 starts as a junior. She scored 368 points, with 135 assists and 52 steals. Li averaged 33.8 minutes and a 11.5 points per game. Li scored a career-high 24 points against BYU (Jan. 27), going 5-of-7 from behind the arc and finishing 9-of-17 from the field. She played a season-high 41 minutes against UCF (Dec. 20), scoring 15 points. She recorded 10 assists twice with a double-double against UC Merced (Nov. 15), scoring 15 points. Li earned WCC All-Academic and Honorable Mention honors. 2016-17 (Sophomore): Li played in all 31 games with five starts as a sophomore. She scored 177 points, with 85 assists and 40 steals. Her 2.7 assists per game were 14th in the West Coast Conference, while her assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.6 was seventh. Li scored in double-figures six times and handed our four or more assists 11 times. Doled out a season-high eight assists against UC Merced (Nov. 13). Added five assists against Marquette (Nov. 26) and six against CSU Bakersfield (Dec. 4). Chipped in seven assists against William Jessup (Dec. 21) and San Diego (Jan. 5). Scored a season-high 12 points against Saint Mary''s (Feb. 2), and had back-to-back games with 11 points each at San Diego (Feb. 9) and Santa Clara (Feb. 11). 2015-16 (Freshman): Ameela Li played in 29 of the Tigers’ 30 games, starting six times as the backup point guard. She averaged 2.9 points per game and 2.3 assists per contest with a 1.8 assist to turnover ratio. Li stepped up with starter GeAnna Luaulu-Summers sidelined for four games, recorded three-straight games scoring in double figures and a total of 41 points and 25 assists in four games. In her first start, she scored 12 points with six assists against San Jose State (Dec. 12), and followed it with 12 points and seven assists against Stanislaus State (Dec. 15) and added 10 points with a career-high nine assists against Nevada (Dec. 17). The performance earned her WCC Player of the Week honors. Also started against Santa Clara (Dec. 21) with seven points, five steals and three assists. Her two other starts came against Portland (Jan. 21) where she had seven points and three assists and Gonzaga (Jan. 23) where she had three assists. As a starter averaged 8.0 points with 4.83 assists per game. Handed out five assists off the bench three times: at BYU (Jan. 2), against Saint Mary’s (Jan. 16) and against Portland (Feb. 18). High School: At Piedmont High was an All-East Bay First Team selection this season. She averaged 21 points and 6.5 steals per game as a senior, earning WACC-Footballl co-MVP honors. Li led her Highlanders to the NorCal Division IV title game, and also earned Second Team All-Metro Area honors by the SF Gate. Li also racked up Oakland Tribune All-East Bay First Team honors, and San Francisco Chronicle Second Team All-Metro at Piedmont, a program which has produced a plethora of Division I standouts.
