Last Time Out
The Tigers enter Tuesday's contest off back-to-back victories against Stanislaus State (Nov. 13) and most recently at Idaho State on Nov. 15 where Pacific claimed the victory by a score of 83-76. Three players — Ajare Sanni, Jahlil Tripp, Anthony Townes — all scored 14 points to help the Tigers to their third victory on the season. Freshman Sanni had a career night and was credited with helping Pacific to a significant victory, scoring all 14 of his points in the second half.
Tiger Leaders
- Senior Anthony Townes is shooting a team-high 70.6 from the field. He is averaging 14.33 points per game.
- Jahlil Tripp continues to be the most dynamic player, averaging 11.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
- Roberto Gallinat is among the top free throw shooters in the league, shooting 89.0 percent after making 17-of-19 attempts this season.
Scouting The Rebels
- The Runnin' Rebels beat UC Riverside (72-51) and Oakland (74-61) to open the season at 2-1. UNLV's loss came at the hand of Loyola Marymount in its season opener.
- UNLV is coming off of its first 20 win season in four years.
- The Rebels are led by senior forward Shakur Juiston, who is averaging 12.0 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game.
- Commanding the offense is fellow senior Noah Robotham, with 3.3 assists per game.
All-Time
Though UNLV leads the all-time series 31-9, which includes a loss at home last week, Pacific enters Saturday's contest having won three of the last four meetings between the two programs.
