Jorden and Staff Named NSCAA Far West Coaching Staff of the Year

NSCAA Release

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The coaching staff of the Pacific men's soccer team has been named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division I Far West Region Staff of the Year.

"I am very pleased that we have been selected by our fellow coaches in the Far West Region as the Regional staff of the Year," said head coach Ryan Jorden. "The success that our team has achieved this season confirms my belief that we have one of the very best coaching staffs in the western United States, if not the entire country. When considering the number of high quality soccer programs in our region, this recognition is extremely gratifying."

Head coach Ryan Jorden and assistant coaches Jordan Ferrell, Matt Gow and Avneet Shergill earn this award after leading the Tigers to a stout 13-4-2 record and the first NCAA Tournament berth in program history. Following the regular season, Jorden was named the West Coast Conference Coach of the Year.

NSCAA Regional Staff of the Year recipients will be placed on the ballot for National Staff of the Year consideration within their respective NCAA Division, along with the coaching staffs from all schools which compete in the semifinals of their NCAA Championship.
