San Diego, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decison to No. 44 Saint Mary's at the WCC Championships at the Barnes Tennis Center on Wednesday, April 23. The Tigers conclude the season at 8-15 overall, while the Gaels moved to 13-7 overall.
"Today the season unfortunately came to an end against Saint Mary's," said Head Coach Charlotte Scatliffe. "I am proud of the way the Tigers fought and the spirit and energy that was brought out during the match. We put our best foot forward today and the team left it all out on the court. We have no players leaving the program so look to get better this summer for the 4 seniors we will have next season."
Saint Mary's took two of three doubles encounters to take the doubles point, then took the No. 2, 3, and 6 singles matchups to win the match.
