University of the Pacific

2014-15 (Sophomore): 
Francis finished 10-16 in singles competition, and 4-12 in doubles competition. Dean played mostly at No. 3 in singles, and No. 2 in doubles with three different partners.  

2013-14 (Freshman):
Francis finished 15-13 in her first year with the Tigers, starting the season 15-7. Dean was 9-10 in doubles as a freshman, partnering mostly with Christiana Ferrari. They started out 5-1 and finished 7-4. 

High School:
Francis came to Pacific from Arcadia High School in Arcadia, Calif. She was undefeated in high school matches during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. She was the Pacific League Most Valuable Player in each of her four seasons, and made it to the CIF Southern Section Singles finals four times.

Personal:
Francis is a sports medicine major in her second year at Pacific. Her career plans include obtaining a masters in physical therapy. She is the daughter of Kook and Soon Dean and has one older sibling, Alex. In her free time she enjoys listening to music.

Coach Scatliffe On Francis: "Francis is in her sophomore year as a Tiger.  She has a wealth of expereience coming from the strong tennis section of southern California in junior tennis and adds to the program in all areas."
