San Luis Obispo, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision at Cal Poly on Saturday, March 8. The Tigers fell to 4-5 overall.
"It was a tough loss today for the Tigers," said Pacific Head Coach Charlotte Scatliffe. "Although it came down to one last match to clinch it we had many opportunities to take the match. Tomorrow will be a test to see how resilient we are and if we can come together as a team. As always there's a lot to learn from a close loss and we will take that away and just keep working to get better."
Hana Ritterova and Francis Dean won in singles action, while Ritterova and Regina Suarez and Iveta Masarova and Cristina Saenz de Buruaga Ruiz won in doubles to give the Tigers the doubles point.
Pacific is next in action with a home match against Youngstown State on Sunday, March 9 at 10:00 a.m.
